COLD CASE BHC BIO :

In early 2022 Cold Case BHC started to take shape with some preliminary song ideas put together by Founder and Guitarist Jason. The band quickly went from a studio effort to a live project after he revisited a conversation with Pat, a staple drummer in the local Boston scene. With a combination of studio work and live jams, Jason and Pat were able to get a foundation for their sound which was loosely based off bands like Hatebreed, First Blood and Recon.

Cold Case BHC really began to take shape when Jason’s brother, Eric, showed interest in vocals. From there the band was able to solidify a darker and heavier sound, introducing melodic elements to their style with crushing breakdowns and piercing vocals. With 5 songs completed, they recorded their first EP (Beyond Recognition) as a 3 piece and released it in January 2023. After the release, the band captured the interest of two friends known from the hardcore scene Jared (Bass) and the MMA community Nick (guitar). With the line up complete, the band went live, playing out for the first time in April of 2023 and continuing since, garnering notable attention from the hardcore community including a spotlight feature from No Echo Magazine.

The band have now started the writing process with the aim to drop a brand new 6-8 track album later this year via 1054 Records so gear up for the new material and more shows to come. Follow them on their Instagram for all up to date news.
